Must watch pre workout calorie intake

I get sick so easily after my bike rides if I don't pay close attention to what I eat before I go out riding. I need just the right balance of calories and timing or I get really woozy afterwards. I had a great ride today until I had to turn around 2 miles before my normal turn around for trail repair closures.
It took me about 2 hours to feel better today and I didn't really go on a very long ride, 4 miles shorter than normal. Good thing too, if I went the normal 20 miles I'd be sicker. I need to have some turkey on a slice of whole wheat toast with melted cheese before I go. I think I'm having serious blood sugar drops and should probably bring some actual gatorade with me. I had vitamin water, but the no sugar one. I'll get regular for the next ride. I should get a small 8oz Rubbermaid to bring a nip of gatorade to drink at the halfway mark.
Jumping into the shower soon and headed out for dinner. Going to enjoy the last of the vacation before the last big 60 day stretch of work before summer.
