April 2013 - No more Fast Food!!

I finally have family support so hopefully I can stay dedicated to eating right, exercising and lowering my stress. Following another SP friend in her journey to go FF free for the month of April I have also taken up this challenge. I realized I did not eat 1 dinner meal last week that wasn't FF or take out.

I have set a goal to be either 200 lbs or under by mid-September when I am taking a very long deserved trip to Florida with my husband to visit my grandparents (they'll be turning 90 this summer) and I want to be comfortable in either shorts or a swimsuit. Our plan is to spend most of our time with my grandparents, but A wants to drive down to Miami (Hialeah) and visit some old college football teammates. Also in the plans is to spend a couple days in Orlando and go to to either Disney, Universal Studios or Sea World/Busch Gardens and I want to be able to walk around and not get tired.

I have started today with tracking my food and water (I am almost 64 ounces in already) and aim to head back to the gym. Why is it that I always injure myself before going to the gym? I have managed to bruise my shin bone (a week ago and the bruise is just starting to form on my leg) and the cortisone shot in my foot has warn off so I have to remember to really stretch before walking so I don't re-injure my foot.

Good news my cold is just about gone and I can breath and feel just about human again!

    I have noticed that I always get a cold right after starting exercising - it's weird. But it's gone now too and I am plannning to hit it hard with the exercise - keep the faith!
