The 8 Weeks following BLC 21

This was my first round of the Biggest Loser Challenge. I enjoyed it. It was challenging, but my team was very supportive and motivating. I plan to be a part of the next round. Until then I need a plan to keep the weight coming off and not backslide into old habits.
Things I learned in this round:
1. Water is very important! I was getting in my 8 cups before but through this challenge I have found that 8 -10 glasses(80-100oz) is more effective for me than just 8 cups(64 oz).
2.The number of calories eaten is important, but the content of those calories is even more important. The more freggies the better.
3.TNT is just as important as cardio in the long run. Cardio helps take the weight off, but TNT help add muscle and put things back the way they use to be.
4. Support from teammates is invaluable to spark inspiration and motivation!
My plan of action will be:
1.Make sure I drink my 8 to 10 glasses of water a day.
2.Eat at least 4-6 servings of freggies a day.
3. Do at least 30 minutes of cardio a day, and strength train 3X a week.
4. Keep in contact with my teammates to get and give support!
I am thankful I was able to be a Groovy Gecko this round. I met some fantastic people and have enjoyed the support. It looks like next week at the end I may even reach my goal weight for this round. I'll have to wait and see!
