Reason behind my fitness & weight loss goals

Monday, April 01, 2013

After losing so much weight while having tongue cancer/lymp node cancer - which was a deadly type of cancer......I know my reason behind the fitness and weight loss now is to stay healthy and free from cancer. Never smoked or drink heavy......what could be the reason why I got this deadly disease? Could be the foods I've been eating? Not sure, and Doctors don't know why eighter........

I was as high as 196 lbs, then having a feeding tube for 6 months I dropped down to 128 lbs. Now that I'm able to swallow and eat I have gained the weight back 165.5 lbs. So I would like to get down to at least 150 lbs.

I hope to achieve a healthy weight, that I'm comfortable with and can only hope and pray this cancer never comes back again. Still have my ct scans every 6 months.

I love you to pieces, admire your strength through all you faced. I want you to never have to face anything like that again and if eating right keeps cancer away...that's the best reason of all.

Stay on top of things and take baby steps to get back to where you want to be.
That feeding tube diet is a big turn-off. Let's hope you have this behind you forever.
