Going out to eat like a pro...

So, I have a professional lunch date today and I am planning ahead like a good little worker bee. It is the first of April, but I am no fool. I know what to do and how to do it. It is really just a matter of how often I do it, meaning the right thing.
So, just for the sake of coming clean, I plan to avoid the following foods on this Opening Day 2013 while dining with a colleague: french fries, wings, pizza, burgers, calamari, and pretty much anything else that involves a deep frier. To be more specific, I will opt for items that are baked instead of fried.
There will be no dessert.
If there is a salad option, I will opt for some fruit in lieu of saturating dressing. I will also enjoy my dressing on the side. I do as the pros do: small bites and the like. As for putting the fork down in between bites, we will leave that little detail to the supermodels. I am looking to impress a colleague, not frighten her.
