Just when it seems things couldn't get better...

Monday, April 01, 2013

This is not so much fitness/health related. First of all the Easter weekend was a HORRIBLE health weekend for me. I completed ate way tooo much! And the MIL wouldn't allow us to NOT take any food home with us. She actually "secretly" packed up several containers of food and put them in our vehicle without us even knowing! She is a good sneaky woman!!! Any way....I am not going to let that get to me!

On the seems everything is falling apart just when things are starting to look up. We are closing on our new home tomorrow and that is a good thing (luckily there is no downside in that) However we found out over the weekend that our vehicle registration has been expired since Feb!!!! WTH!!!! How did that slip by us. Normally we are so careful with these things and get them done early! Now this wouldn't be a problem if we actually had the money to take care of this. DH has lost his job and is looking but even being without work for only a couple weeks has left us scraping the bottom of the barrell. We barely have enough to make it through until my next payday (2 weeks away)! I will probably have to borrow money from my parents in order to make ends meet. Luckily I have really AWESOME parents that are capable of helping out when needed. I just hate asking! It makes me feel like a kid again!!! I will be so glad when we are in our home and at least saving money on our monthly mortgage!

OH....this to shall pass! I just have to keep reminding myself of this! but it is hard to keep positive and not EAT when all this stress is going on!

Wow, sounds like a lot of things have been thrown at you at once. How you handle the stress of it is totally and completely your choice. You can handle this because you are taking care of your body and your health. Your parents are probably more than happy to help (don't be afraid to ask). I wish my kids would ask for help more often but to each his own. Hope this closing goes well for you and you can be in your own home soon!

Even when things are rough, it sounds like you have a great family and support system. You'll make it through this patch and come out stronger on the other end. Today's a fresh start - you can do it!
