HLC Spring Challenge

I am completing my HLC spring challenge and I needed to evaluate how I did. Thought this made a good blog.
My original goals for this challenge were:
My goals for the 8 weeks are to lose 10 pounds.
Increase my cardio.
Drink more water
I lost 7 of the 10 pounds I wanted to. I have increased my cardio in the number of days I do and my intensity. I am also now drinking 12 servings of water per day so I met that goal.
My next steps are to lose 8 pounds in April. I want to increase my strength training which will aid in my weight loss. I need to work on better plans when eating out. Sometime I make bad choices in a restaurant.
The other challenge I had this week is to describe myself as I really am; including 7 positive things about me.
1. I am kind
2. A hard worker
7. A great wife and mother.
I would say to describe myself I am a 40 year old wife and mother. I work very hard at a challenging job and always strive to do my best. I am working hard to make myself healthy. I want this for me and no one else. I love cooking, traveling, planning things, and being with my family.
