I am starting again afresh with my new , healthier plan! I made a life-changing decision for my self two weeks ago...I have ditched meat and am eating vegan...and guess what? I am feeling so much better AND I have lost 4 kilos to boot!
The idea came after visiting my oncologist last month...she suggested cutting back on processed foods and eating more vegetables and pulses. I love such food, but am the only one in the house who does...this does not bother me in the least... I do not fancy meat much, and, except for minor lapses, like one scrap of chicken in one weak moment, I am doing well as I am, and I will stay this way for the forseeable future. Places like McDonalds are right off the menu, and fast food generally is taking a walk. my family reckon that i am overdoing it and are saying that I shouldn't be a born-again vegan, but I am happy with myself for what i am doing...it is important to me to eat healthy, and I hope that they will follow me even in some small way in the future...I am trying !
