Ch 10, Day 58

Hello, April! Greetings, new month, new day! No fooling, I've been waiting for you. It was the big line in the sand when I would be on the other side of all of my reasons, excuses for not living healthy and fit.

I took myself a little more seriously yesterday. Even though I ate more than I should have, I sure didn't eat as much as I wanted to. And, I had one tiny piece of chocolate, only. Yeah, only. When I got home after a wonderful family brunch, I laced up for a 3.5 mile walk in a light rain. I sure didn't feel like it, sluggishly working through it, but I did it, and walked farther than I had planned.

So, no April Foolin' I start my annual Spring Training today. Thinking, embracing (LOL that will come, yes?) health and fitness.

New month!
New day!
New health and fitness goals!

Client work
Walk before grand baby arrives
Eat healthy
Sit grand baby
Plan and make something healthy for dinner tonight; supersize it for leftovers this week.

Wishing you a terrific healthy and fit month and day!

Ate in the low end of daily calorie range
Walked 3.5 miles in the wind and sleet.

    Great start to the next quarter of the year!!!! I ate WAY to much but I pushed through with the workout just like you. emoticon I also started fresh today. I am trying some juicing and a vegetable and fruit based diet for two weeks.

    I didn't make it to the pool yesterday, but I had a good workout with my chair aerobics video. It's amazing how effectively you can work out while seated in a chair. She really gets the core area.

My problem with the pool on Sundays is the lap lanes aren't available till 2:30 pm -- at 10 am I was raring to go, but by 2:30 I was too settled in and didn't want to leave the house. Have to go back to Saturdays, when it's open in the morning.
