Help me be nice about this! I'm not gaining weight, yet NOT LOSING EITHER. However, it is time to commit! yea....commit!!! XXXXXXX

The Motivation? I've been house hunting. Yes, I'd like to be at home, BUT I can't do that unless I sell my house in northeastern Arizona. So, when school is out, I will head back to the house to stage and prep for a sale. So, that also means I will be there for 8 weeks. That's a bit scary since I've gained 40 lbs since I was there five years ago. I can't go back and hang out with colleagues and townspeople looking at all the extra me there is. It's like carrying a 4th or 5th grader around. That's not right!!!! So, I've got to be real and push myself. Also, the ex-out-laws and ex still live there. I've just got to be smokin. I mean REALLY, I DO!

So....I'm cleaning up....yes, I am. I've stocked up the refrigerator and cabinets with nuts, vegetables, and fruit. The freezer has chicken and fish.

And, here are the pics. BOY!!! Itis all of me.

    You can do it. Take the time to fit some rest and relaxation into your plan as well as healthy eating and exercise. You will kick butt and take names if you choose to make good choices MORE often than not.

    You are on the right track--cleaning out the unhealthy foods and replacing with nourishing foods is a step in the right direction. Keep going--you'll get there!

    I love how you ended this, "It's got to be done!!!" great way to think about it. You can make it happen. Just remember enjoy the journey, it is for you that you are doing this.

    This isn't about other people and what they think of you. It's you taking care of the only body you've got. It takes time to lose the weight just like it took time to put it on. Above all, be kind to yourself rather than beating yourself up. This does NOT mean go back to unhealthy behaviors, but just be okay if it takes time to incorporate new healthy habits.
