A Positive Easter

Monday, April 01, 2013

I forgot to add that I did about a thirty five minute walk and had some of our kids with me today. I took advantage of the non busy street and neighborhood my aunt lives on. So though I ate a bit and could not go to the gym, I made sure to do something.

You are doing well :-) Yay! Def. do what you think works for you in terms of a trainer. I know I said you don't need one in another video, but I do understand that if you think that will be the best decision for you I am supporting you as a Sparker :-) Just keep on top of your budget so you can make sure it doesn't cut your food budget short. I think balance and moderation are key :-)

Paying attention as you said is what we have to do!
Oh and it's quinoa (Keen - Whah ) It's a Native American grain. I know it's eaten in S America too. It's an acquired taste and A LOT of people don't know how to pronounce it...not just you. But the BLAST of protein and fiber is OH SO good for us.
PS I have found that one of the most economical foods for dinner or lunch that I can prepare for us is "Black Beans and Rice". There are lots of variations to this dish. Price it out. If you like Mexican or even if you want to try vegetarian, it can be made without meat. It usually calls for ham but you don' thave to use it. Sometimes I'll put in a bit of Canadian Bacon since the fat content is lower in it compared to hame. I hope this helps.
Nice video. emoticon
