Setting aside Sunday as Sabbath

Sunday, March 31, 2013

Just a great worship experience this morning. We just had regular hymns and all placed flowers on the cross in a reverent manner. Very united and calm.

We had invited a neighbor but they had to go to the hospital with an emergency. Nice meal within ranges but then.... I ate 8 chocolate Easter eggs. For the rest of the day I drank water to try to dilute the ill effects.

Anyway I have great news. I have always mentioned how we don't have biking lanes, or walking paths, or side walks. My new tool is the circular driveway. We started watching the BIBLE which is inundated with commercials. My sister suggested we walk during the commercials - so I walked my way past 10000 during commercials. 3 times around is 500 steps.

Today was proof that I don't have to be perfect each day to stay with Sparkpeople. I just have to be willing.

Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-14
