Today was a little rough food-wise. I went a little over in points (I am on the old Weight Watchers system). I am determined to pick myself right back up and get back on track. I need (and want) to be at goal weight for my next doctor appointment in June. I have to see him every six months. The last time I was there he finally half-heartedly congratulated me on my weight loss. I told him I'd like to be able to get rid of my stomach and what does he suggest. He told me that no woman can do that. WHAT? I wonder if he saw how great Danni (Biggest Loser) did of getting rid of hers? So, I am determined to prove that closed minded jerk wrong! I will never give up! I will never surrender!

    Do what feels right for you...aim high and be proud of your results.
Don't compare yourself to others...find the satisfaction of YOUR progress.
Biggest Loser examples are great motivators.
but the only person you need to compete with is Yourself.

    Yeah - I hate wasting my time trying to talk weight loss or true health with doctors. They support one thing - medicine. I don't stay completely away from it - if you need it, by all means . . . However, people (especially doctors) need to wake up and realize that food is also medicine. Having a healthy relationship with food and exercise is so important to good health. I'm glad that you know that - and you go girl - teach that doctor a lesson! Who knows, perhaps you will start a movement!!!
