My second week went very well, despite that fact that my birthday was Wednesday. I had dinner with friends at an Indian restaurant Wednesday night where I had two moderate plates of chicken tandoori (I do love tandoori). Luckily, I had eaten a very light breakfast and lunch earlier that day and got in a couple of good workouts. Then Saturday I went to visit my family and we celebrated with a big breakfast AND dinner...a 6 oz prime sirloin and fresh asparagus (but no cake!) I was a little hesitant when I stepped on the scale this morning but was delighted to see that I had lost 4 lbs! YAY!
I've noticed that already I crave less food and it takes much less to fill me up. I also feel so much better, even though it's only been a couple of weeks. This has definitely motivated me to keep going!
