FLYING THROUGH THE FIRST QUARTER
Can you believe that we are ¼ of the way through the year? For me, the older I get, the faster time flies! I just received my Employee Service Award marking 20 Years! It doesn’t seem that long.
So, my weight loss goal was 20 lbs. I lost 15, 75% of goal. I did a bit of lose-gain-lose-gain in March, so am satisfied with how I have done so far.
I have worked on my exercise, and I have been better at doing it, but still not as consistent as I would like to be. I have been a little better with my food, but again, need to work on consistency.
Goals for April 1 thru June 31
Weight: Go from 177 to 157 (20 lbs)
Exercise: Cardio 5 days a week (total of about 310 minutes), Strength Training 3 days a week (total of about 180 minutes)
Food: Meal plan for and cook 4 days a week (my days off). This includes making enough so I have left-overs to freeze/take to work, and planning either make ahead or slow cooker items for my errand days.
Motivation: I have joined the official “Eat up, slim down” challenge. I am hoping it will help me stay on track with my food goals. I will work towards being able to bike up Kili Drive (about 1.5 miles) without stopping.
I am planning on taking a progress picture and I will share it tomorrow.
