Above the fog, leaving the world below:
I've done some spectacular hikes throughout March.
Here are some pics of the ones that bring back happy memories...
The most challenging was my 21-mile hike 3 weeks ago.
Stats for that: 5500 vertical feet
Fitbit stats for the day: 47263 steps / 615 floors

Then, of course, the hike with my kids:
And yesterday an upside down hike, where we started on top of the mountain, did the downhill first, did some creek hopping, looped around and finished by doing a quite steep uphill.
They call this portion of the uphill the Rim Trail, and it gets a bit tricky at times.

Overall March was a tough sad month and I have to say that hiking played a big part of getting me through.
April is my birthday month and I'm determined to make it a good one!!
