March recap

Well today is the last day of my " no eating out" for the month of March. In the beginning as with any challenge it was a little rough. It seemed like all I wanted to do was eat out since I told myself no to fast food this month. Then I sat and thought about it. The times I wanted to eat out really wasn't that often. It just seemed that way because I was making a decision to hold off and I was more aware of what I was doing. I'm glad I did this challenge because it helped me with self control and self discipline. I had to work on the part of me that feels the urgency to eat out. Like if I wake up in the morning all the fast food places will be gone kind of thing. So as you know on day 31 they're still here.

    I did not have trouble with fast food and giving it up. If I am going to eat out, I pick a real restaurant with a choice of food, etc. and it's just nicer, tastes better, etc. Unfortunately, often those restaurants are bars/pubs so I end up drinking a beer or two too many. . . :-)

    I do plan to eat out sometimes but not a lot. Like yesterday we has Subway. I didn't even want to go to McDonalds, Taco Bell/KFC ,Sonic or What A Burger. I want to keep those kind of places to the bare minimum ( like a last resort).

    OH, I only WISH they were all gone!

    I don't eat out very much at all. I absolutely cannot and lose weight. The only times I do is when I'm traveling, and it's ALWAYS a moderate breakfast at the hotel breakfast bar, Subway for lunch. Dinner isn't always as good~! emoticon

    Great way of thinking about it! I used to eat holiday treats because they were "rare." It took a long time to change that thinking.
