It just Dawned on me ..

As I am sitting here feeling under the weather for no apparent reason , I start thinking . Why am I feeling this way? No reason to feel this way. It's a beautiful sunny day, It's Easter, your making better choices. AT 6 am you rode your bike for 5 miles. You have tracked your food even Easter Dinner and are in your range. I mean what else could I want.. Why do I feel blahhh..

Then it Hit me Like a Truck I have not had

diet cola or any cola for about 3 days .

I think I detoxing from caffeine.

Just thinking..wow on my way just have to get over the headache and the blahh feeling .
This feeling really makes you realize how much you have depended on Caffeine to get through the day.

I will be glad to get past it and hope it happens soon. Until then I am Sparking On... emoticon

    You can do this! Speaking as someone who gave up ALL soda over 2 years ago --- hang in there it does get better!

    I used to drink 2 or 3 sodas a day (unless we went to a restaurant with free refills when that number went up considerably). When I decided to quit I thought I would go crazy for the first couple of days. Especially when I saw other people drinking sodas. It seemed like all I thought about was soda.

    Now though, the cravings are gone and I don't ever think about it. We actually had someone leave a case of soda at our house after a party and it sat on the floor by my fridge for over 8 months before we finally gave it away.

    YOU CAN DO THIS! You are doing yoursefl so much good by giving up the sugar (regular soda) and/ or chemicals (diet soda). It is SOOO worth it!

    I've been having the same problem. I am slowly finding that it is possible that I am allergic to the protein in milk. So, I've been trying to stay away from it. One thing I loved to have was a cappuccino in the morning (we have a small machine because dh is a coffee lover). I'm trying now to take it with almond milk - I am more allergic to soy - but I don't always like the way it tastes.

    I've stayed away from sodas for 2 years now and don't miss it. However, since pushing away the coffee - the other day I found myself buying a soda (which I would swear never to do again). So, it does affect you and I guess we just need to realize it so that we can get past that withdrawal phase. It will get better!

    I didn't have coffe today, and I really wanted a diet Dr. Pepper to fill in for the missing of my caffeine....then I saw this picture---I must go get it now! I will detox from caffeine next year. You go girl!!! emoticon

    Drink plenty of water...green tea. Give yourself time. Focus on the good stuff.
