The Easter Pig

Sunday, March 31, 2013

Difficult to admit,but true...

The month of March, most of it, was spent with severe pneumonia and a couple of trips to urgent care. Feeling like I was on death's doorstep, I decided to give my body everything and anything that was edible. Couple this with very little exercise (compared with my healthy state of lots of exercise) and I now am faced with cleaning up the damage. One good thing, my clothes still fit. But it'll be awhile before I brave the gnarly scale.

Tomorrow is April 1st and this blog is no joke. I had to write about the stark reality in order to fully own it. And then change it.

So, the bunny passed by my house because the Easter pig had already visited for too long.

Big bunny hug to all. Enjoy whatever holiday you celebrate.

The Easter Bunny would still offer you a fluffy hug. Be kind to yourself, you were ill. As you regain you health and strength you will return to your journey.

emoticon The Easter pig! Glad you are feeling better and are getting back on track. Good for you for being honest and owning up to what is staring you in the face. It may take some time but I know you'll get back on track! emoticon

I spent this whole weekend at the trough too. Ugg! I'm having a hard time finding my motivation to eat like I know I should and really want to. Good thing giving up isn't an option, no matter how long it takes, right? emoticon

"So, the bunny passed by my house because the Easter pig had already visited for too long." -- This made me laugh out loud! I could certainly relate! While I wasn't sick in March I definitely had some diet setbacks. The Easter pig's lack of presence today will not be missed by me.

Sorry to hear you've been sick. I can relate to the food situation. I felt the same way around Christmas. I was starting to look like Santa. I've taken off 7 lbs. since Jan. 12th, but I too had to do a reality check. You'll get back on track once your health is back. Take care of yourself. Easter bunny hugs back!

I see the need for gut flora in probotic support was not in your own seasonal change adjustments. Easy over the counter replacement intestinal life can also add more smile to a mood. Acidophilus of many species of biotic life supplements can help reduce or avoid that down time with quarterly (when the seasons change, especially with a temperature shift) tablets. You must be working a really hot motivated goal to miss so much sleep and to happen onto an awful gut ouch. Foil wrapped chocolate was always my weakness at Easter. The flowers of spring will cheer you up. Welcome back, you gorgeous spring Chic. emoticon emoticon emoticon
