Happy Easter... and weekend!

Sunday, March 31, 2013

So I have had a crazy weekend. Dan and I promised to vend (His knives) at a local faire on Saturday. It somehow hadn't gotten on the calender sooo I got a call 1 hr prior to them letting shoppers in asking where I was. I was still asleep.. Dan had taken the kids to the zoo, and then lunch at the aquarium's cafe. Sooo Dan being 25 min away downtown and me asleep.... it took me all of the 25 min to get up, get dressed, make the phone calls to Dan etc. WHEW!! We got there as the doors opened and set up reasonably quickly and he had a good day of selling! I walked miles, I think... probably only 2 or 3 but it sure felt like more on the concrete floor of the faire.

Then Today... Dan decided he was buying a Ham and Potatoes, and frozen Green Beans (with bacon & onions) and inviting His family over. So I am up at 7:30a, putting the ham in the oven... but of course every "cereal" Bowl we have was dirty and in the sink from the kids yesterday...sooo I am running a load of dishes as I type! Excitement around here is my room mate Jennifer (shara) took the kids to work with her last night. They got to sleep in a nice hotel room for the night and then went to SunRise Service at the local College Stadium. Her church meets there so all their services can meet at once. Making sure children had medication and all the "sleep-over" items was important. So I had put earlier in the week I had lost another 2 lbs. down to 283. I have seen it staying there. It REALLY is nice to see the scales moving. With some "small changes."

So what are Your small changes for the New You, on the Resurection Day!?!? The day Christ gave His life that we may live!! So live it healthily i will!

    Yum ham!

I know what you mean...only the dishes, pots and pans I need now always seem to be dirty.

Best of luck staying on track!

Way to go Aria. It's nice to see you again :)
I think my small changes are :to eat the mid or high range of my calories (since the lower range had made me hold onto weight) and to continue going to the gym now that my class is over (typically I stop when the class does).
Have a great day Aria.

    Dear Marks_Aria,

I like your question "So what are Your small changes for the New You, on the Resurrection Day!?!? "

Let's see. I am learning how to be a new Leader for the Spark Vloggers Spark Team. This is the first time I have ever lead a group on Spark People. There's a lot to learn. I made a goal to vlog a video every week. So far I have been doing it two weeks in a row. I gave up soda and I am drinking water now. I plan to track my food again. My goal is to be more comfortable by August 14 when I do a major presentation on Intergenerational Trauma about Native Americans.

Thanks for asking the question.
