There are two ways to live life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.." Albert Einstein
I for one think everything is a miracle. Why? I just do. Just think of all the cells that make up a human body and how they and all our genes have to have just the right combination to keep us well.
Think of all the different species that make up this planet the great world we live in. In his Easter speech the new Pope Francis asked us all to take better care of this miraculous world we live in.
Think of the millions of varieties of plant life this world contains, some with miraculous healing powers. We must make sure we don't lose the animals, trees and flowers to construction and new cities.
This year when we plant our yearly garden I will make extra sure I share the miracle of my seeds that become roots and then great tasting food.
I will make sure I nourish this miracle of a body God has given me. Not everyone with a pacemaker does as well as me and my daughter and we have to make sure we do our part to make that miracle work. I will make sure I stay as active as I can for as long as I can .
Think of the miracle of the simple smile. How it brightens others lives and makes us feel good also. This is true of hugs also. I will smile and hug more and pass this miracle on to others.
The Pope also asked for the miracle of peace and all though we can do very little to make sure there is peace across the planet. We can all do our part to make sure our tiny section is as peaceful as can be.
Think of the miracle of the new Pope Francis himself . In this age of technology and greed ,and richness, the cardinals all voted for a man who lives like the poor. How Jesus truly lived not with all the riches and trappings of the church.
On this special day of Glorious Miracles when Jesus was raised from the dead. I ask you to look with me at all the miracles this world possess and honor them , delight in them everyday . Share your little miracles often and the world will be a better place.
