I've decided to start eating following the paleo/primal living guidelines. I've been on it for the last five days. I took a planned cheat day today and had some pizza and chocolate. I can't wait to get back to the plan which is really different for me. When I'm following the plan guidelines it really cuts back on my cravings so I think it will be awhile before I have another planned cheat day.

    The beauty of eating Paleo is that the things you thought you couldn't live without (carbs), you find no desire to eat at all. Paleo is about nutritious food and eating what your body tells you it NEEDS. Little or no willpower required after week two or so.

    I've been paleo for over 5 weeks now, and even though I was a total carb junkie before, I don't really miss them. I really enjoy eating this way, and I feel so much better. I'm amazed at how the weight seems to come off effortlessly. I know a lot of this is losing water, but I'm not complaining. Good Luck. emoticon

    Good luck on Paleo. I found in looking at it, that I would likely crave carbs too much on the diet. I think of starting a diet plan, that it should be something I should be able to follow for life. Paleo doesn't seem like it would work for me. Too much you can;t have.
