Yesterday we tilled up the garden with my size tractor, I would say new but it was made about 1984. I had almost given up hope to ever have a clean bed again. But the tiller made short work of all the grass and clumps. Then we planted corn as all the old farmers said it had to be planted in March. We tilled up my neighbors too as he has been too ill to make a garden this year.
I worked on the church bulletin all morning and then DH and I went up to Longview to consign some furniture and to pick up some bins to store the silk flowers I use for the church altar. We took the neighbors some lilies and took the bulletin to church and straightened the lilies there..
Tomorrow is a special Easter Sunday because we are doing a cross of flowers.
I hope it turns out as nice as this one. It will be unique as no two flowers are alike.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead... 1 Peter 1:3
God bless us with rejoicing over His resurrection and our new birth!
