Songs of my Friends Playlist

Saturday, March 30, 2013

I created my half marathon playlist using recommendations from friends and family. The playlist is incredibly eclectic, like my friends & family.

I am planning my half marathon playlist because of my friends & family. Their continual support and encouragement strengthens me. I suppose I should say YOUR continual support & encouragement strengthens me as well.

emoticon s have been essentail to my journey. Being a part of & coleader of some great teams humbles me and invigorates me. Spark friends are full of support, love and GO GET 'EM encouragement. emoticon

Anywhoo, following is a playlist compiled from the 30+ suggestions I had from posting on sparks & facebook & asking my husband. It's a long playlist which is only fitting as 13.1 miles is a long way to go! emoticon ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thanks for sharing that list! I was happy to see 3 of my suggestions made the grade! emoticon And I remember Eye of the Tiger (from the 3rd Rocky movie?) playing over his training montage; definitely a strong choice. I'll have to check out the more recent tunes.

I always loved exercising to rock and roll or disco, and doing housework to a loud overture, like the William Tell or 1812. Say, instrumentals can be rocking too--like the Rocky theme or the Lone Ranger (AKA the William Tell Overture)! A loud brass section can be pretty invigorating! emoticon emoticon

I just realized I also recommended the Sister Act soundtrack (I so have to find my CD!), so the last 4 were mine--Cool! I'm so happy I could help, and that you'll think of me during the half-marathon, with my music cheering you on! emoticon emoticon emoticon
