In one of the Daily Spark blogs today I was interested to learn about the challenge of food addiction. This blog referred to addiction so strong that people would hide food so no one would know their eating habits. I have never done that , but, I have eaten food when I knew darn well it was not good for me.

The article gave a clue regarding how to overcome this. According to the article one of the ways was to use exercise to stimulate the brain to grow more brain cells and new circuits to fight the addictive ones.

The author ( a guest ) summed it up by saying "Big brain, Small waist" explaining the bigger and more powerful your brain, the better your decisions and the smaller your waist. Sounds good to me!

Skip the do nut, hit the treadmill instead! Give the brain a chance!

Oh dear, my brain must be smaller! Well my waist is a lot smaller than it was, of course, but could still use improvement!! Hmmm! Certainly food for thought!!! emoticon
