I went to the gym with my fiance on Thursday evening for a change. It was a nice treat since I'm usually working then and he goes with a friend of ours, and another friend is also usually there at the same time. Well, we all wound up lifting weights together, which was cool. Then someone suggested walking lunges, since we were working on legs.
Oh, the lunges. Three sets of walking lunges with two fairly fit guys and a marathoner. Two days later and my quads are still killing me. Yesterday cleaning saved me from being totally sedentary and today I just barely, sort of managed a 25 minute walk at a very slow pace. My fiance's quads are also sore, so that's some consolation.
