A rest day

Saturday, March 30, 2013

I managed to take a real rest day today. I only walked the dog a little over 7 miles. He got some time to run off the leash up at my parents' farm, so he is pretty happy. Lunch was good. I made pork chops, sauteed veggies and a green salad with bell pepper for the four of us (my brother joined us). We decided to possibly go to get a doggy life jacket next weekend. That way Cooper can go on our shorter kayaking excursions. We have to try it on very flat water first, but I think it will be okay.

Tomorrow my family is doing lunch. And then I am going to a friend's house for dinner. I have a feeling I will get plenty to eat tomorrow!

Maybe Cooper could dog paddle and pull the kayak and you wouldn't have to paddle? I bet that would tire him out. Just think of how that would look. emoticon

I would think Cooper could swim 20 miles, towing that kayak, without getting winded!!

Cooper must really enjoy being there, where he can go off leash.
