As most of my friends know, I have diabetes type 2 and just started insulin in July. So I have reintroduced foods back into the diet plan but lost control of portion control while learning to balance food and insulin. I have gained 5 pounds in that time. So.....
It is time to get serious with carb counting. I did well on this before and will again. By low carb I mean that I will focus on protein, fruits, veggies and grains that aren't processed (couscous, quinoa, plain potatoes). I think this will help along with my plan from my previous blog.
I am going to put my weight ticker back on my SparkPage to keep myself honest. I will keep everyone informed of my travel along the low carb road.
