Keeping a healthy mindset

Saturday, March 30, 2013

Less than two weeks until I have surgery. Today I shopped for my heavier groceries. I verified what medical and personal supplies I had on hand. I made a menu for the next 10 days. I then used it to get my marketing list.

I set up to do lists for things that must be done. I needed a station for my laptop that did not involve steps. I cleaned off my desk (whew) and now am testing the laptop out. I could not have the laptop on my thighs with the surgery I am having. I cannot be perched on a bed to use the laptop.

I changed the furnace filter and bought more of them. I need to vacuum the exercise room and the utility. We had some annoying flying insects that I zapped today.

I organized my shelving with pantry and cleaning supplies. I got a list of what I am expected to take to the hospital. Bag will be packed next weekend.

I also have a list for Bob's communication and dialysis instructions.

I certainly have energy and am not LISTless!

OMG, you blow me away! I'm still reading "The Longevity Project" which is about a study they did to determine who lived longest and every time you post I think you fit perfectly into the characteristics of long-lived people.

I also do not have your organizational skills, so the way you manage all these details is nothing less than impressive!

Good Job! emoticon

Glad you're not LISTless! lol You are so prepared-I tend to just leave things for my husband to deal with.
