Went to see my diabetes doctor the other day. Before that, I had just completed my first run for the longest time - at last my legs allowed for running, and I was so happy! But then, the doctor told me I am not allowed to run at the moment because my kidneys are in too bad condition. They cannot take the shaking and tremor that running causes, so my body retains a lot of fluid; my kidneys cannot handle their job properly. That was rather depressing news to say the least. My system is breaking down at the age of 25...

I must change, and I must do it now. I have no time to waste. I must get my blood glucose levels down and I must control my eating better, I mustn't give into bingeing, I must be tough... The fight is not over yet!
