Woo hoo!!! Half way to my first goal!

Weighed yesterday and knew I was down, weighed again today and I am 0.3 from half way to my first goal of losing 55 pounds by my birthday!! Woo hoo!! I could really tell in my clothes yesterday because I wore the pair of jeans Capri's that I got last summer and they are baggy on me and I will not be able to wear them for much longer because they literally start sliding off!! emoticon Oh darn.................guess I will need to buy some new ones!!

The greatest thing I love about this is that I have not starved myself at all during this time, I eat plenty of food every day, I have gone out to dinner and to potlucks at work, and slowly but surely the weight is coming off. I even had to get used to eating MORE than I was used to because I was so used to skimping by on stuff to save on calories. I've even had desserts and a piece of candy here or there! At the potluck on Wednesday they had one of those humongous chocolate cakes from's like triple layer death by chocolate.......and I did not have any, and it's not because I don't like chocolate because believe me this girl likes her some chocolate!!!! It was two things: first I did not want to log the calories in for that piece of cake because it would be A LOT and second, because it honestly kinda made my stomach go EEEEWWWWWWWWWW! emoticon I have had this cake before and it is very very very rich and it just made my stomach turn to even think about eating some..........I had a small piece of coconut cream pie instead and was much happier!

    How exciting!!!! I especially love the fact that you're doing this in such a way that you can enjoy it. No misery from being hungry all the time! That's the best way to make sure it's sustainable, for sure!!
