I didn't want them to take this photo... BUT...

Saturday, March 30, 2013

It shows my last "big" shirt. I have the classic red drippy nose, but decided to share this one. It was taken on Thursday at a farewell "food day" for some staff that are moving to a different building. They forced me into it, so I'm grinning and bearing it.

About the shirt: It is comfort clothes. It fit me at my heaviest, and it is soft and I love it, and when I'm feeling particularly low (as I was that day) I will pull it out of the closet and wrap myself in it.

But the camera really shows how HUGE it is on my frame as it is today.

Beats my old "gramma sweater" on the back of my work chair - love it but there is a missing button and holes in both elbows

    Pretty spring green: and comforting.

A little Chapstick or Lypsyl can do wonders for the red nose if it's still sore . . .

Absolutely huge!! What a great momento of a different time in your life. Wish I'd have kept a thing or 2 in really big size just to remember.

Good for you! You did great. I still have some pajamas that are way too big now - makes me feel skinny and proud of how far I have come.

I love your photo !! I love wearing comfy shirts. I have a fleece top that I wore when I was 50+ pounds heavier. I can't bear to toss or donate it because it's still incredibly comfy !!

I have a huge fleece jacket that I have kept, my very first one, a heavy duty blue one that they don't make that kind of quality anymore. I imagine everyone has that one special article of clothing..

Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do, right!?! Sometimes even though something is large it is hard to get rid of because of the memories attached (kind of like food I guess! That emotional connection). At least it helps you smile! HUGS!

It's good to have something like this for those uncomfortable days....kind of balances it out. And it does look cute and comfy!

Better comfort clothes than comfort food. What a good reminder of where you have been and what you have accomplished.
