Just a short blog to ALL my sparkbuds! I know I haven't been here much. I seem to get very involved in the instantaneous nature of FB. But, I'm going to try to visit more often. I haven't logged fitness activity in months but I have not slowed down. Well, technically, I haven't slowed down b/c of neglect, but out of necessity. Many of you know that I"m expecting our 12th angel. Due date is the 17th (the 15th if you ask me) and I'm really feeling the baby moving lower and lower and poking out front more.
The last pregnancy was my first running pregnancy and I was able to keep running through the 37 week which is where I am now. This time, however, I called it at 32 weeks out of necessity. I've been walking each day and seem to be adding mileage each week. This week's total is well above 30!!!! and depending on how far SIL drags me this afternoon, it might hit 40. Wow! there's a challenge for the day. HAHA!! almost 10 miles today?? Uhh... maybe not.
I've kept my weight gain to a nice amount though not as low as last time which was 24 lbs. I'm at 28 lbs right now and usually lose the last couple of weeks so we'll see.
We don't ever find out the sex of the baby so I'm very very excited to see which way the balance will go. Well, there really isn't a balance or near it , I guess. We have 7 boys and 4 girls now so another girl will help, but certainly not balance. LOL!! I have NO clue on girls' names so a boy would be helpful(not to mention how much easier boys are emotionally for this mother to raise.)
I want you all to have a Happy and Blessed Easter tomorrow. May the Lord shine on each of you, your families and shower you with the graces necessary to do His Holy Will and to feel His Love in your lives.
Thank you for being here supporting me and each other and for motivating me to keep making healthy choices. This page has made a huge difference in my life. The Rookie Runners Group, especially , holds a very tender spot in my heart. I have met many of you and am forever grateful for that. I've been on spark for 4 years (as of March 4th, I think) and knowing that there is a support group of several thousands around the world has kept me going and accountable. Can you believe it? I have friends in Norway and England and Australia and other places I can't remember right now on top of all my States friends!!!! GOD IS GOOD!!!!
