My beautiful Coach purse arrived two days ago and I hated it! The zipper was hard to open and close. It was bigger than I thought it would be. The right side seam appeared to be sewn incorrectly and bulged slightly, and that was going to bug me. I figured it just wasn't acceptable on a $150 purse! The leather, however, was WONDERFUL -- buttery soft and luxurious.

The return policy was a refund within 30 days with the customer paying the return shipping (nearly $14). I finally found a place on the website where I could email customer service (boy, was it hidden) and asked them if I had to pay for return shipping since the side seam appeared defective. I attached two pictures of the seam. Within 5 minutes they sent me a prepaid shipping label! Was I happy!

So no, I don't have my reward purse, but this was a close call! Now I know I have to suck it up and buy it in a store but I will NOT feel guilty about the price. I just want a nice, leather, utilitarian purse that I can use year in and year out. Coach would be awesome because, you know....COACH!

It has been raining for two days. I was HOPING they would cancel our running clinic this morning but alas, "WE WON'T MELT, LADIES!" was the message on the Facebook page. So off I'll go. I've made a commitment to attend every clinic and so I'll go, even if not enthusiastically.

I am STILL hanging in at 151. I have not been perfect but I've not been HORRIBLE, either. This "decade", this "middle number" hasn't been an easy nut to crack. But I'm going to hang in there.

IT AIN'T OVER UNTIL I WIN!

    I hope it stopped raining by the time you arrived to the clinic. Mine was cancelled last Thurs due to the sleet & hail. I had planned on missing it away because I didn't want to get any sicker (ear infection). Kudos for returning the purse! I'm a firm believer of speaking out when things are wrong! Hope you find a purse that suits your needs.

    You are right to send it back to and get it from the store. That is awful that they would send you one that was in that bad of shape!

    So disappointing and frustrating about your purse. BUT.....now you get to SHOP again with "spending money" in your pocket! Wheee!

    Good for you speaking right up about it!
So many people just drink the koolaid and pay the $14 or, even worse, keep the purse- or even throw it in the back of the closet!

    I hear you about the purse... WTG on contacting customer service. I went to the store to check out purses when I ordered my purse. Actually my purse had be ordered and I also checked out a rejected purse by another customer. I asked them to hold the purse for me. When the one I ordered arrived... it was too big and did not suit my needs. The rejected purse was the keeper.
If you find one that meets your needs, you will be a happy camper with your investment.

You are a hearty soul... Did you melt?
