Salt Cave

Saturday, March 30, 2013

Yesterday I was lucky enough to have the day off work and so I pampered myself a little. I had come across this deal for a salt cave visit for half price and yesterday was the perfect opportunity to try it out. From all I read it is helpful for skin, breathing conditions, and relaxation. I can use help with all three areas so it was a no brainer for me to try it out.

I'm sure with those conditions you really need to gon continously and it is something I will consider. May is when my asthma stikes so this is the perfect time of year to try it. It was an interesting experience and if I could have taken a nap it would have been perfect. I just need to learn to clear my mind and relax. This picture us very close to what our local spa's salt cave looked like. There were seven reclining chairs some with blankets and one with a pillow. I woudn't want to cover up since I want the skin to be exposed.

Have you ever tried this?

Interesting I never heard of such a thing, Val. I'll have to see if we have something like this around here in PA.

I just ordered and received a Himalayan salt inhaler. Sells for $44 on Amazon and half-price for the same new ones on Ebay. I
like it a lot - keeps my lungs clear. I just
finished with pneumonia, so I want to keep
my lungs healthy.
