The Plan - Day 12

Week 1 - 5 lb down
Day 8 - no change
Day 9 - 0.6 lb down
Day 10 - 0.2 lb down
Day 11 - no change
Day 12 - no change

Relieved about this because I had a wheat-binge day. In other words, OD'd on biscuits. Had very little at night to make up for it. BUT this has made me realise something: wheat carbs aren't filling at all. You can eat loads and not feel full, so you just keep going. And you still feel hungry. Whereas when you eat veg and protein, you feel full quite quickly. It was good to have a lapse because I'm now more aware of the mechanism.
Planning to get to the gym today - have a good one! emoticon

    Thanks, Whitefeather - good luck with your own Plan! Approved protein - she starts with chicken on day 3, and after that you need to gradually try out your own favourite proteins, eg chickpeas, cheese, fish etc, to see what works for you. So it's highly personal!
My week 1 was great but I was tired. After that, it slows down because you start adding things in. But hopefully you will feel better for eating all that veg/water/good stuff! I have certainly noticed a difference. emoticon

  Congrats for you! I'm on day 14, trying not to be discouraged as the shift in weight so far has not been what I've hoped for. I get confused when she says approved protein, from what list is she referring? Thanks!

    Glad you stayed the same.. ah those biscuits.. I love Mcvities chocolate digestives and luckily I can't get those in Mexico o I'd be in trouble.
