My wife and I went to the semi annual antique sale in the middle of Texas yesterday. It was nice weather and very small crowds. I think a lot of the dealers were setting up shop. I think we will come later to the sale in October. We took a friend and her two young daughters (age 4 and 20 months). We looked at a lot of different and unique stuff. The one thing my wife liked was a slab of copper that had been heated so that the colors "popped". It was a very unusual, and heavy piece of art. A little more than I wanted to pay, but very interesting. My FitBit had over 17,000 steps after lunch and with the slight inclines in the ground, over 10 flights of stairs. A very nice day, even though we didn't buy anything.
