Today was the end of Couch to 5k week 1. I am so proud of myself for getting in all three runs this week!
I used my Garmin for an outdoor run for the first time in a looong time! I've realized that I go so much faster outside compared to the treadmill (even with hills).
Was my running pace great? not really. Am I still proud of it? YES!!! It's better than I had been doing last year. Besides -- it can only get better from here. I can't wait for week 2! I will probably need to slow my pace for the longer running intervals... that's okay. As long as I get a good workout out of each session, that's what it's all about.
