Couch to 5K Week One, Day Three

Even though I slept most of the day yesterday because I didn't feel well, I was determined to get up and do my C25K training today. Whoo Hoo! Training completed!

I will make sure I get to my 10K steps today, but that is all the exercise I will do. I hope I learned my lesson about overdoing it yesterday.

    Good job! It's not always easy. You should be proud of yourself!

I am doing the "5K your way" program (starting week 5 today.) It has been worth it. I have already reduced my resting heart rate by more than 10 beats per minute (from unhealthy/average to healthy range.) I think you chose the better (longer) program too. I am supposed to be ready to run a 5k by the end of this week, but there is no way I could run the whole way just yet. I am going to jump into the middle of the C25K when I finish the "5K your way" program this week.

Keep up the good work! Every step, brings you closer to the healthy vision you have for yourself.

    Good job pushing through and getting that workout in. We all go through the process of learning what's too much for us or what's not enough.
