TRUSTWORTHY WITH WEALTH
If we are given something to do and we don't do it, others will begin to lose confidence in us. After asking over and over again and we don't follow through with what we should do, we won't be given other opportunities. If we aren't acting responsibly with our money, we won't see much opportunity for more money. God knows what we do with our money and gives us what we can handle. We need to be honest with ourselves and decide today to be more responsible with our finances.
Luke 16:11 “And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?” (NLT)
Dear Lord, help us to know what we need to do to be more responsible with the money You give to us. Help us to make the right financial decisions. Show us how to use our money to help others and glorify You. We know we make wrong decisions at times and don’t do what we should, but we want to start fresh today. Show us what we need to do today and every day to be trustworthy with our wealth. We thank You and give You all the glory for what You are going to do in our lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
If we can’t be trusted to do the right thing, what kind of example are we setting for others?
God wants us to be trustworthy with our money. It’s time we took a look at where our money goes and if we being obedient to Him with it.
When we take time to find out what God wants us to do with our finances and we do it, He will use our money to help others.
How we make decisions about the money and things we have here on earth will determine what more God will give us to handle.
We can be responsible with our money if we decide to make the right decisions even when we are tempted to do wrong.
What we have on earth is a blessing from God. We are to use all blessings from God to help others.
Romans 15:27b “Since the Gentiles received the spiritual blessings of the Good News from the believers in Jerusalem, they feel the least they can do in return is to help them financially.” (NLT)
