I Didn't Keep My Promise

Friday, March 29, 2013

I am not a woman of my word. emoticon I told you all that this week I was going to lift weights with the BF and that I was going to take a spinning class at the gym, and NEITHER happened.

He can show me the weights another day. Our Sundays were busy with our own stuff, so I'm not totally surprised that didn't happen.

But spinning. Yesterday. It was supposed to happen. I came home from work and told him that I was going to the gym at 6. Then we got to talking and sometimes we rest, hang out in bed and talk, right after work. I usually put my workout clothes on before doing that so I can still get up and go. But yesterday I didn't put my workout clothes on right away, and the next thing I knew it was 5 minutes to 6 and I didn't make it.

Next time, really, OK?

It happens. I doubt that one instance is a testament to your character as a whole. :)

You are an amazing woman! Keep on!

Sometimes hanging out and talking after work is better than working out. If you want it bad enough, you'll get there....

Life happens sometimes. I have had this happen to me as well. I just made sure I made it to the next class. You can do this. It is just a small setback. For strength training can you use your own body weight? It is just as challenging as with weighta. The beginners challenge here on spark is challenging and a good place to start.
    Blessings on your journey.

It sucks to know that you promised something and you didn't do it. But now you know next time you have to put your workout clothes on or you won't go. You are human! Some days you want to relax and that's okay but don't let it become a habit! Hope you have a great weekend!

Sometimes you need to come together and unwind.

That's okay, life happens sometimes! But if it's something you want to do, just make sure it's a priority the next time around. You're doing great!
