Day 18 - A kinda gross question....

Well I just have one question for tonight. I really have problems with a few veggies more so than any other food and I'll explain why. I burp them.

There are alot of veggies and a couple fruits that I will burp for hours. Bel Peppers, Kale, Bananas and Cauliflower. The burps taste so bad that I have an aversion to them.

My question is there anyone else out there with this problem? Sorry to be gross.

    Do you eat pro-biotic foods? (Things like kimchi, Greek yogurt, kefir, miso, tempeh, sauerkraut - things which are fermented by bacteria or yeast)

I make it a point to eat something pro-biotic every day (typically the Greek yogurt, but I'm a big Asian food fan, as well). I eat tons of fiber everyday, and the only time I get gas/hiccups/burps is when I've eaten too much over-processed food.

Good luck...eating healthy shouldn't mean being stinky! :)

    emoticon A LOT of "Healthy" Foods have that effect on me, except that the Gas goes 'the other Direction' if you get my meaning. And the odor is FOUL!! Pills like Beano & Gas-X help a bit with the odor, but I still get the "Sound Effects".

    I think many of us have foods that affect us this way. Tomatoes cause me lots of problems. Raw onions.

  Not with those foods, however cucumbers never bothered me before, but in the last couple of years they have started to make me burp. I love them too much to give them up though, LOL! emoticon
