Sickness and workouts

I'm still fighting this bronchitis! It's been over a week. I have not been able to exercise since being sick, and it is definitely affecting my mood. I'm sure I wont see much of a loss this week. I have kept my calories basically in the correct range, but without exercise...I don't expect to see much success. I weigh in on Sunday...maybe there will be an Easter miracle! :)

I want to get back on track this next week, and really kick things into gear. Hopefully my respiratory system will get the message and cooperate!

    Yup, same here....down & out for 2 weeks and that cough is still lingering today. Was able to push through it and finally workout for the first time yesterday--not without a few 'hacking' spells. And, yes, it took an amazing amount of patience and will power NOT to workout all that time. Hang in there! You can knock it out of the park when you are finally all better.

    Your success will be measured by your getting well. It takes time and with a respiratory really need to focus on that. I believe in you...just keep looking at the whole pic and keep Sparkin'!!

    I feel for you not being able to exercise; I've been bothered by a problem in my thigh which is impinging on my running emoticon
    Have you seen a doctor for your bronchitis? A bronchitis can become pneumonia so be careful and take care of your health.

    I was out of commission for nearly 2 weeks with that crud. I tried a couple of times to work out but I couldn't get enough oxygen to get it done and actually caused myself a relapse. I finally decided to just wait it out, drink plenty of water and up my intake of fruits and vegetables. I am finally back in the swing of things. I went swimming yesterday and got in 45 minutes of lap swimming. Today I did Zumba.

    You take it easy until you are better. The important thing is to get back to working out when you do feel well. That has often been my downfall in the past.
