This morning I woke up not feeling like too much of anything. I stayed in most of the day with the exception of a quick run to the store, and even then I had someone run in for me with my grocery list. I know... just lazy, right?!
Shortly after posting my morning message I got right into a workout. My little one woke up and I thought that was going to be the end of that because I was looking for a reason to stop and just sit down. That didn't happen.
As usual, if my little one sees me working out he will greet me, grab the remote and turn to one of his favorite shows. He watches and talks to me while I am working out. He actually counts my miles walked for me. If he feels up to it, he sometimes walks a mile with me. I love it.
I did well with my eating today. I did have to take a multivitamin because I didn't eat a lot of veggies today. I had some beans... and beans keep me full forever. Otherwise, I did okay. One low calorie day isn't so bad when you have had a few high-calorie days. Besides, I don't mind zig-zagging my caloric intake.
So, tomorrow, I have no workout/food plans. I'll be making healthy choices one meal/snack at a time and I'll try to get in a good workout. If I don't get the workout part done all at one time, i will try for small bursts of activity throughout the day. Every little bit adds up.
I need to get a battery for my pedometer so I can count my steps in the home. I remember doing a mile just walking back and forth in the kitchen, clothes, upstairs, downstairs, cleaning, those steps add up.
