Thursday, taxes and toddling between houses

Thursday, March 28, 2013

Yes, I finished my taxes. Started and finished today. Am I a whiz? NO, just ready to get it done.

I was supposed to mow today but DH wants to do something else to the tractor so.. I didn't mind waiting. He went on to the men's meeting tonight. And I walked home. Around here if people are walking it usually means your car is broke down. And if you an adult riding a bicycle, you've obviously lost your license because of a DUI. So I just never make eye contact but flip my hand in the hair to imitate a wave.

I got home and didn't have my 10000 steps and road my three wheeler round and round but I am too tired to keep trying. Good night and God bless.

God bless us with the willingness and the PATIENCE to make it through.

Sorry you did not hit your goal. I missed my exercise today. However, getting your taxes done must have left you feeling great for the accomplishment!

It is so nice to have that tax ogre out of the way. I helped my DH pull a borrowed tractor (with a rototiller) out of the mud (aka our garden) with our John Deere. Who says girls can't have fun on the farm? I actually enjoyed myself; for once it was sunny and warm- for a few minutes. Have a great Easter weekend! emoticon

You know the old saying, the only things certain in this life are death and taxes. You did your taxes today, I went to the funeral of a dear, dear man in our church today. A sobering reminder that we all have an appointment with that man carrying the scythe. But we know that our dear friend is with God. And we are trying to take better care of our selves, so as to avoid that appointment as long as possible! You didn't have 1,000 steps... but you had some! Keep on keeping on, and we will make it!
