don't talk to ME about water

Thursday, March 28, 2013

I don't know how many servings of water is in a Kool-Aid pitcher, but danggit I am CERTAIN that I have surpassed my daily goal. With this running lately and after a tough Zumba session I came home THIRSTY. I didn't even waste my time grabbing a glass. I grabbed this

Derrell asked me what I was doing with that pitcher and I said, "I am going to drink it!" I began chugging and he snapped this pic

Do you see how serious I was about that water! Now if I can only get that serious about my food. It seems that I will have a pretty spectacular day and then give it all up in one meal. I want to be FABULOUS this summer and especially on our wedding day. I have a handful of months to figure out how to exercise hard AND eat well simultaneously. Thank you for all your support!

Been there done that. There have been same workouts lately by the time I get home I could chug water just like that. You'll be perfect on your wedding day. Just remember he didn't ask you to marry him because of your weight, he asked you to marry him because he loves you.

LOL I was like that when I got home yesterday. I forgot my gatorade at work so I worked out without anything fluids (bad I know). But when I got home it was chug, chug, chug!!!

It must be something in the air. I mean it seems like I am more hunger now at a lower weight than I was before (CRAZY). I did up my calories to a range that should net a 1 pound per week loss but it seems weird that I require more food now. I am trying my best to get out of the 170's ehhhh they just want to hold on to me.

On another note, you will be FABULOUS on your wedding day. You haven't given up you are keeping your workouts in check and you probably are eating more because of that. Just try to keep it as healthy as possible.

Awesome! Just be careful chugging too much water, could make you sick. :(
But, keep up the good work. :)

I wish I could tell you how to do it. For me, nutrition had to "click" into place. I was having the same issues as you and then I wasn't. I devoted a lot of time to educating myself about good nutrition, read a lot of books on the topic and basically created my own plan that is easy to stick to and yields results. But it definitely took some time. I just read this great phrase on Nerd Fitness and it is totally true: "You can't outrun your fork!"

Haha. You go girl! I am having a hard time convincing myself to drink more water. But, when I do drink it, I drink like 16 ounces at a time. So weird. Keep up the great work! Looking FABULOUS!
