Finally went and had the blood work done that I have been putting off. 7 stinking viles of blood. I felt ok, even after fasting, or so I thought, until mid afternoon. Then I just felt drained. (maybe literally). I gave into a nap after lunch and a large bottle of water. Still didn't really want to get up, but there was work to be done.
Made myself workout. I did not want to but I did anyway. Felt much better after I did. I didn't do the cardio workout that was with this program. Instead, I did a walk video. I can't keep up with the other one and my fitbit says I burn more calories doing the walk video so I think that will be ok.
3 of my 4 kiddos worked out today so that made me feel good. They also ate the veggie stir fry I made and enjoyed it. I had only 2 cups of coffee. Progress!
The scale may show some progress this week. Either because I am committed or because I finally decided to shave my legs in anticipation of possible 80 degree weather. Don't care really, I would just like to finally see that stinking number drop.
Going camping this weekend. Really determined to get a couple workouts in and to track all the food I eat on this trip. We did pack healthy meals and snacks so hopefully I don't blow all my hard work from the last two weeks.
It has been a lot easier having buddies to check in with and spark friends that are keeping me in check too. Thanks for all the feedback and support.
