Creepers!!!

Depression is trying to creep back in and I say NO!!!!!!!!!!! emoticon I will find things to do that take my mind off of the things that make me sad!!! Just a few of the things I could do.............counted cross stitch, crochet, embroidery, crewel while watching a movie. I have enough fabric to make a quilt. I could go back to work and get the menus finished (on my own dime!!). Blogging here with my friends that always give me 110 % of their support!!

I am thinking that tomorrow I may start walking to and from work again. emoticon Just the thought of it makes me tired though as there is a hill between here and there that is very steep and takes me forever to get up!!! And I will have to leave the house by 6:15 AM to get to work on time. I guess the weather will be my deciding factor!!! If its raining I will drive!!!!

My diet is doing great at breakfast and lunch but by this time of day it is in the toilet emoticon I am going back to baby steps and the first two to change will be cutting out sugar emoticon and drinking more water emoticon .

    Great ideas for taking your mind off things when depression is knocking at your door.
I agree with Diet-Friend - start off by walking once or twice a week to work and gradually build up for when the weather is better. Before you know it that hill won't be so daunting.
Two out of three meals a day is good going. Try to look for evening meals that you enjoy that a) don't take too long to prepare and cook and, b) that you can adapt with a few more veggies to bulk it out. If you can prepare ahead, that is even better.

    Would it be possible to fix meals on your day off and put them in the freezer so on your work days you can just take them out and heat them up? Something like slow-cooker or stir-fry? Just a suggestion. Like your ideas to combat depression. emoticon

    Maybe you can walk to work just once a week. I have trouble with eating late in day/evening.
