Spring really is coming

Thursday, March 28, 2013

many may think me a silly old lady, but i got so excited to see these little wild flowers near our corner post of our land...I though we had too much cultivation around majority of our property for the wild to survive, but these little Buttercups are there and blooming their hearts out a traditional sign of spring we always looked for on the ranch when I was growing up. I am blessed and had to share. Any other sentimental ones out there with traditional signs of spring?

I live in AZ, so it is hard to come by flowers. I always have loved butter cups, thanks for the picture.

Beautiful little flowers! I don't think they grow around here, though we do have some gorgeous wildflowers. You inspire me to go take some pics of bluebonnets and post them. Thanks!

I remember seeing buttercups when I lived in the NE. They are a strong flower indeed. A great sign of spring. I live in Fl now so I'm not sure what our sign of spring would be.

For some reason I remember holding a buttercup under your xhin and seeing if you reflect the yellow. I can't remember what it's supposed to mean if you can. But this is surely evidence of spring. Thanks for the beautiful picture.
