Okay well I work FT and I go to school FT and I attempt, rather haphazardly (just ask my boyfriend) to have a social life and make time for play and working out.
I have been searching for a strength training video workout that would:
a) not involve a lot of jumping around
(since I live in a 150 + year old victorian house in a 2nd floor apartment with a neighbor above and one below. My neighbor upstairs is just a few ounces short of a full pepsi so I don't really want to ruffle her feathers, and the older gentleman downstairs probably doesn't want to hear my honkytonk badadonk sounding like its going to fall through the floor and land in his living room either I'm sure)
b) be fun, but intense
Well, I ordered Atletica, powerstrike and tried it today. Holy Hannah. It was butt kicking and fun. The drums in the background didn't bother me, I actually enjoyed the music and it went well with the Rolling Stones I was playing along with it.
I got a nice workout, broke a serious sweat, might've called the instructor, Illaria, a few less than delicate names since she made it look easy as pie. I then went to class and felt like my arse was going to fall off going up the stairs and across campus.
Well played Illaria, well played :)
Can't wait to do that again, unfortunately no more play tonight. Tonight I am working an overnight shift on the ambulance and have parent's anniversary tomorrow.
Always on the go :) Hope everyone has a great evening.
